Amazon Shipping: is it worth it?
There are so many different businesses that Amazon owns, and each of these businesses makes up the Amazon environment. One of my favorites in recent years is Amazon shipping.
At first, I was totally confused. What the heck does Amazon shipping mean? Is it FBA, Amazon MCF, Amazon Logistics, or Amazon Buy with Prime?
I recently met with Sydney Strout (Enterprise Sales Manager) at Amazon Logistics, and she explained the whole thing to me.
- Amazon Shipping is like π UPS.
- Amazon Shipping is like π FedEx.
- Amazon Shipping is like π USPS Priority.
I hope you are following along with this example π€£
Here's an example: UPS and FedEx rates have been increasing every year for packages over 1 lb, and most sellers are unable to negotiate better rates. This leaves you stuck without the potential to negotiate better rates due to your lower shipping volume.
π Amazon Shipping will come to your warehouse > Pick up your packages
π Amazon Shipping will deliver your packages to customers within 2 to 5 days.
