SOP: Shopify, Add DMARC record
Shopify has been sending out emails asking sellers to add the DMARC. Shopify has set a February 1, 2014.
Who is this for? This SOP is for anyone using Shopify and trying to add the DMARC to the DNS recorder.
I have copied and pasted the email that Shopify has sent to sellers below. 👀
SOP: Go Daddy DNS & Add dmarc
The first step is to visit your domain hosting provider. In this case, we are using GoDaddy, which is my preferred option. However, all domain provider DNS are almost identical, so there's no need to stress out!
Use the link to access your domain on GoDaddy: https://dcc.godaddy.com/control/portfolio
I provided the data that you can copy below. 👇
- Add Record: TXT
- Name: _dmarc
- Value: v=DMARC1; p=none; sp=none;
Here is an example of how we did it on Godaddy.com 👇. "The setup process will be similar, regardless of the hosting domain used."
